Rural Protection Fund

The GKCA accepts donations earmarked for the Rural Protection Fund. These donations will be used for specific expenses related to our primary mission of protection of the rural character of our area. Most expenses are for legal fees to fight bad development.

In addition to donations, we invite residences to get involved in the issues affecting our community during Community Input Meetings, development plan reviews, and County hearings. This is a wonderfal way for citizens to get involved in government affairs at the local level. This is where democracy begins! We are especially grateful to individuals who are willing to donate their time and who have professional experience in subjects related to development such as wet-lands, hydrology, highway engineering, traffic studies, or various environmental issues.
