11 am, rain or shine
Each year, the Greater Kingsville Civic Association and the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Department sponsor an old-fashioned, traditional 4th of July parade with lots of fire trucks, local groups, horses, dogs, and a few surprises. This brings together the community with picnics on front lawns as the parade, and many of the neighbors, march by.
The preliminary activities are at 10am in the "triangle", and the parade starts at 11am and marches down Bradshaw Rd. from the fire hall.
The parade is always on the 4th, except when it falls on Sunday the parade is on Saturday the 3rd, as it is this year.
As with everything we do, we are always looking for volunteers to help with this fun activity.
Check the Drum for a list of winners at the 2009 parade.
